In January 2012 the Scottish Government signalled its intent to
hold a referendum on whether Scotland should become an independent country.
The outcome of the referendum has potentially seismic implications for all organisations or companies currently operating within Scotland and indeed other parts of the UK. The media – print, broadcast,
online and social – is the primary forum for discussion of views, as well as
the means of communication, for all parties and stakeholders engaged in
the debate.

To help make sense of it all, Press Data has created The Referendum Daily.
Drawing on over 20 years in monitoring, filtering and interpreting the Scottish news agenda, The Referendum Daily tracks the media coverage and the debate in the build-up to 2014, providing you with a daily summary of the agenda-setting coverage of the day.

In addition to this service, Press Data supplies a weekly round-up, with a
more considered view of the referendum story over the preceding seven days, including in-depth comment and charting plus a forward planning section.
We also produce regular reports based on particular aspects of the debate
– such as the impact on financial services, coverage of specific campaigns, ministerial visits and the implications for the Scottish media landscape.
